Privacy Policy

At 7 Layer IT Solutions, we respect and value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit our website. By using this website, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information when you visit our website:

Personal Information: We do not require users to create accounts or submit personal information to use the website. However, if you choose to contact us, we may collect your name, email address, and any other details you provide in your message.

Non-Personal Information: We may collect non-personally identifiable information automatically through technologies like cookies and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). This includes information about your device, browser type, IP address, pages visited, and the time you spend on our site.

How We Use Your Information

To Improve Our Website: We use the information gathered to enhance and personalize your experience, improve website functionality, and analyze traffic patterns.

Communication: If you choose to contact us or sign up for a newsletter (if applicable in the future), we may use your contact information to respond to your inquiries.

Analytics: We use tools like Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to analyze traffic and user behavior on the website. This helps us better understand our audience and improve our content.

Visitor Identification: We use ZoomInfo WebSights to identify the organizations that engage with our website. When you visit and browse our site, we automatically collect data such as your email address and device and browsing information, and we use and share this data with certain vendors, including ZoomInfo, for business-to-business marketing analytics and lead qualification.

Advertising: With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising, understand the actions visitors take on our website, and deliver relevant ads on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit the website. They help us analyze website traffic, track your preferences, and optimize the user experience.

We only place non-essential cookies — such as analytics, visitor identification, and advertising cookies — after you agree to them through our cookie banner. You can review or change your choices at any time using the link in the footer of our website, or by disabling cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect some website features.

To find out more about how we use cookies, please see our Cookies Policy.

ZoomInfo WebSights

We use ZoomInfo WebSights, a visitor identification service provided by ZoomInfo Technologies LLC. When you visit and browse our website, we automatically collect data about you such as your email address and device and browsing information, and we use and share this data with certain vendors, including ZoomInfo, to provide functionality on our site, identify the organizations engaging with us, and analyze which pages you visit. WebSights matches this information against ZoomInfo's database and sets a first-party cookie (_zitok) and related browser storage to record information such as the pages you view, the duration of your visit, the referring website, and your general geographic location, and to recognize returning visits.

WebSights is used for business-to-business marketing analytics and lead qualification. The WebSights script and cookies are only loaded after you provide consent through our cookie banner. If you decline cookies, the WebSights script will not be loaded and no WebSights cookies will be placed on your device.

For more information on how ZoomInfo handles data, please review the ZoomInfo Privacy Policy and the ZoomInfo Cookie Notice.

Microsoft Clarity & Google Analytics

We use analytics services, including Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics, to better understand how users engage with our Site, improve user experience, diagnose issues, and optimize performance.

Microsoft Clarity may collect interaction data such as mouse movements, scrolling behavior, clicks, heatmaps, session replays, and how users navigate through pages. The data collected by Clarity is anonymized or pseudonymized (i.e., it does not directly identify you personally). We use these tools to generate aggregated reports and insights about usage patterns (e.g., how visitors use features, identify broken links, etc.).

For details about how Microsoft handles data, see Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

In addition to Microsoft Clarity, we may use other analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) under similar principles. Google Analytics collects information such as IP addresses, pages visited, and the time spent on the site.

For more information about Google Analytics and how to opt-out, please visit Google's Privacy & Terms.

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel, an analytics and advertising tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"), to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, understand the actions visitors take on our website, and deliver relevant ads on Meta platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

The Meta Pixel may collect information such as your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you visit, and actions you take on our site. It may also set cookies (such as _fbp) on your device. This information may be shared with Meta and, where you are logged in to a Meta account, may be associated with that account in accordance with Meta's policies.

The Meta Pixel is only loaded after you accept marketing cookies through our cookie banner. If you decline marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel will not be loaded and no related cookies will be placed on your device. You can change your choice at any time through our cookie settings.

For more information about how Meta processes data, please review the Meta Privacy Policy and the Meta Cookies Policy.

Google reCAPTCHA

Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA (v3), a service provided by Google LLC that helps us tell human visitors apart from automated bots and protects the form from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA is loaded only when you begin interacting with the contact form, not on general page visits.

To assess whether a submission is legitimate, reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information — such as your IP address, browser and device data, and how you interact with the page — and sends it to Google for analysis. reCAPTCHA also sets a cookie (_GRECAPTCHA) and stores related values in your browser. This information is used for security and fraud-prevention purposes.

This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external websites that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. Please review the privacy policies of any linked websites before providing them with your personal information.

Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location and applicable laws (e.g., GDPR), you may have certain rights regarding your personal data. These rights may include:

Access: You can request access to the personal data we hold about you.

Correction: You can request corrections to any inaccurate or incomplete data.

Deletion: You can request the deletion of your personal data, subject to certain conditions.

Opt-out of Marketing: If you receive marketing communications from us, you can opt-out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or contacting us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), gives you specific rights regarding your personal information. This section describes those rights and how we handle California residents' personal information.

Categories of personal information we collect. In the twelve months preceding the date of this policy, we may have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as IP address, device and browser identifiers, cookie IDs, and email address; and, if you contact us, your name); internet or other electronic network activity (such as pages viewed, interactions with our site, and anonymized session recordings and heatmaps); geolocation data (approximate location derived from your IP address); and inferences drawn from the above for analytics and business-to-business marketing. We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, or precise geolocation through this website.

Sources of personal information. We collect this information directly from you (for example, when you submit our contact form), automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use our site, and from third-party providers such as ZoomInfo, which we use to identify the organizations engaging with our site.

Purposes for collection. We use this information to operate and secure our website, analyze traffic and performance, identify organizations interested in our services for business-to-business marketing, measure and deliver advertising, and respond to your inquiries, as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

Categories of third parties. We may disclose personal information to analytics providers (Google, Microsoft), our visitor-identification provider (ZoomInfo), advertising partners (Meta), and service providers that support our website.

“Sale” and “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of the Meta Pixel to deliver and measure advertising may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. We only engage in this sharing after you opt in through our cookie banner, and you may opt out at any time. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require us to offer a right to limit its use under the CCPA.

Retention. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Cookies and similar technologies are retained for the durations listed in our Cookies Policy.

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:

Know / Access: Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, and how we use and disclose it.

Delete: Request that we delete personal information we collected from you.

Correct: Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Opt out of sale/sharing: Direct us not to “sell” or “share” your personal information.

Limit use of sensitive personal information: Direct us to limit the use of any sensitive personal information, to the extent applicable.

Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

How to exercise your rights. You can opt out of the sharing of your personal information at any time using the link in the footer of our website. We also recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid request to opt out of sharing. To exercise your right to know, delete, or correct, please contact us. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may need to verify your identity and the agent's authority before processing the request.
